His keys can be heard on tracks by Earl Sweatshirt (“Fire In The Hole”), Robert Hurst and Black Milk, among many others. He operates a record label called Freak Press, founded in 2017. A student and protegé of both Marcus Belgrave and Geri Allen, Ian is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, and an alumni of the DSO’s Civic Ensembles.
