Early bird pricing through June 1: $750 – Standard pricing beginning June 2: $850.
Your purchase, in no small part, will help to keep the Detroit Jazz Festival free for all
and support important Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation programming.
The Guardian Package includes:
One (1) ticket to the 2026 Opening Night Party (Friday, September 4)
Each Opening Night Ticket includes:
- Access to VIP reception with food and a hosted bar from 5 – 7 p.m.; cash bar available after 7 p.m.
- Opening Night Performances begin at 7 p.m.
- Access to front-of-stage seating (first come/first served)
- Seating is also available in Lincoln Garden throughout the performance
One (1) ticket to the Lincoln Garden VIP Area Saturday, Sunday AND Monday (September 5-7)
Each Lincoln Garden VIP Ticket includes:
- Access to Lincoln Garden VIP tent with refreshments throughout the day
- Two drink tickets per day along with complimentary soft drinks and water; cash bar available
- Access to front-of-stage seating at each of the Hart Plaza stages (first come/first served)
- Pass includes exclusive access to the VIP Entrance

2026 Opening Night Party Tickets
$225 per ticket
Kick off Labor Day weekend at the Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation’s Opening Night Party (Friday, September 4) with cocktails and a gourmet strolling dinner from 5-7 p.m. (cash bar available after 7p.m.). Then sit back, relax, and enjoy world-class jazz performances including the 2026 Artist-in-Residence, Joe Lovano!
