Young Lion of Jazz Tariq Gardner, a rising star on drums, brings his talented group of young musicians to the Cellar for a night of blended jazz fusion. Tariq Gardner’s Evening Star has its roots in Detroit’s jazz scene, blending traditional with a wide array of musical styles within the African Diaspora including Afro-Cuban, Negro Spirituals, Jazz, Neo-Soul and Hip-Hop.
