VIP hospitality and seating options for the 2021 Detroit Jazz Festival have been updated to ensure customized experiences. Before selecting your VIP experience, PLEASE NOTE:

• Options for daily reserved seating and daily access to hospitality must be purchased separately.
• Jazz Pazz includes access to the reserved seating section at the three (3) Festival stages on Saturday, Sunday & Monday. It does not include Lincoln Gardens VIP Hospitality.
• Lincoln Gardens VIP Hospitality does not include access to reserved seating sections at the three (3) stages.
• The reserved seating section in the Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience is located in the Hospitality area above the Carhartt Amphitheater stage. It does not include access to the lower-level reserved seating section in front of the Carhartt Amphitheater stage.
• The Opening Night Celebration, Jazz Pazz and Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience are nontransferable and nonrefundable. No Refunds will be issued due to rain or other weather-related occurrences that may impact originally scheduled performances.

OPENING NIGHT PARTY, Friday September 3^rd

Kick off Labor Day Weekend at the Detroit Jazz Festival’s Opening Night celebration with cocktails and a gourmet strolling dinner. Then sit back, relax and enjoy a music-filled night with performances by the 2021 Artist in Residence, Grammy and Tony award winner, singer-songwriter DeeDee Bridgewater, Herbie Hancock and other special guests.

 

This year, the Detroit Jazz Festival’s Opening Night celebration will be held in the Lincoln Gardens with performances at the Carhartt Amphitheater Stage in Hart Plaza. There is an option to attend the full evening of festivities or only the performance. Please choose your credentials accordingly.

 

Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.

 

How to Select the Correct Credentials for the Opening Night Celebration

The scenarios below are examples of potential Opening Night Celebration experiences. Please select the appropriate seating and hospitality option(s) you prefer.

 

I’d like to attend the Opening Night Party and concert located in the Lincoln Gardens. Which credential(s) should I select?

 

One (1) Friday Sept 3^rd OPENING NIGHT PARTY at $199 per person

 

(NOTE: The reserved seating section in the Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience is located in the hospitality area above the Carhartt Amphitheater stage. It does not include access to the lower-level reserved seating section in front of the Carhartt Amphitheater Stage during the concert.)

 

I’m only interested in access to reserved seating for the concert at the Carhartt Amphitheater Stage on Opening Night. Which credential(s) should I select?

Serious jazz fans can choose Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (or all four) for a personalized Festival experience. The Jazz Pazz includes:

• Access to reserved seating sections at the stages (Seating is limited in each area and on a first-come, first-served basis).
• Digital download of the Detroit Jazz Festival Program Book (one per purchase) available in August
• Recognition of your donation on the Detroit Jazz Festival website

 

The Jazz Pazz is available in limited quantities and can only be purchased in advance. There will be no onsite sales during the Festival weekend. All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.

To access restrooms, lounge areas and meal options, Jazz Pazz patrons must purchase a daily Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience.

The Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience is ideal for patrons who want to add a hospitality option to their daily Jazz Pazz or for the guest who values an exclusive environment while viewing artist performances. (Only available at the Carhartt Amphitheater Stage in Hart Plaza)

 

The Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience is available Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and includes:

• Designated reserved seating located in Lincoln Gardens (Prime seating with best views of the Carhartt Amphitheater Stage is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis)
• Complimentary snacks, soft drinks, gourmet to-go meal, and 2 alcoholic beverages
• Bar service with liquor, beer and wine available for purchase (No cash accepted, credit cards only)
• Accessible restrooms
• Recognition of your donation on the Detroit Jazz Festival website

 

The Lincoln Gardens VIP Experience includes access to upper-level, designated reserved seating for the Carhartt Amphitheater Stage only. Admittance to reserved seating sections at other stages on the Festival footprint requires a Jazz Pazz for the appropriate day.
