For many years, the Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation offered a special opportunity for jazz lovers to contribute to the Detroit Jazz Festival, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Donors were known as “Guardians” and those who joined were a proud group, eager to support this cherished musical event which provided VIP hospitality benefits and recognition.
We are pleased to announce The Guardian program is back! Your donation, in no small part, will help to keep the Detroit Jazz Festival free for all and support important Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation programming.
Guardians are those individuals who:
- Buy the full Detroit Jazz Festival VIP Package. This package provides:
- Access for one to the Opening Night Party (Friday, August 30).
- Admission to the Lincoln Gardens VIP Area for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Food and refreshments offered (August 31 – September 2)
- VIP seating at the main stages during the Festival.
- Enjoy invitations to private meet and greets with jazz artists, have the first opportunity to buy jazz performance tickets prior to their sale and much more!
- Receive acknowledgments in the Festival program, on the Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation website and within the streaming programming.
Guardian packages are $700 if purchased prior to June 1, 2024, or $800 after that date for the 2024 Detroit Jazz Festival.
